Just to get an idea if this might be malware run this on it and copy/paste the log on here if it finds anything:

AdwCleaner:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue Download button near top - not anything else on the page).
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the program. Use the "Scan" button, followed by the "Cleaning" button.

Have you tried another browser such as Firefox or Chrome? If so let us know if that does the same.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

"it searches for go microsoft"

It isn't clear to me what searches for what. Are you saying that when
you click the Internet Explorer icon, Windows searches for something
on your hard drive that you refer to as "go microsoft"? Or that Internet
Explorer searches for something on your hard drive that you refer to
as "go microsoft"? Or that Internet Explorer searches for something
on the Internet that you refer to as "go microsoft"?

Is "go microsoft" your home page, and a web page on the Internet?
If so, the page may be trying to download something. Or it may have
already downloaded some file and is trying to show it to you.

It rather sounds as though you or Windows, or some program running
under Windows downloaded something, and wants to do something
with it. Which does sound like malware.
