Windows 7 Internet Explorer 8 problem

Specs: Windows 7 Pro, amd athlon 64/ 2gb ram
I am running windows 7 pro 2Gb of ram Asus A8N SLI deluxe m/b AMD athlon 64 3200 cpu.
My problem is with internet explorer, at times it multiple loads so fast that I cant stop it . I have to restart the computer. When I open task manager its reloading so fast that I cant stop it sometimes there are over a 100 apps showing some running and some not responding. the cpu is at 100% It is i/e version 8

You may have an infection. They sometimes masquerade in Task Manager as iexplore so you think that is 'normal' or a problem with Windows. Install Malwarebytes (free version) and scan with that. I will often pick up malware and spyware that most antivirus programs miss. If you have trouble installing or running, it may be the infection, so try installing and running in Safe Mode.
Post back the results.

Try the fixit solutions on the microsoft website. http://support.microsoft.com/fixit/
They have updated it with new fixes that might help.
