Windows 7 HTTPS connection problems

Specs: Windows 7
Just did a clean install after reformatting with Win 7- Have good connectivity to all web sites until I tried an HTTPS address that I was using all the time before. Now it comes up with " Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" It is important that I resolve this quickly! Thanks!

If you are using Windows 7 64bit you have two versions of Internet explorer. One is the original 32bit version and the other is the newer 64bit version. The newer 64bit version is not compatible with all websites yet so make sure you are using the 32bit version. If only one is showing on your desktop, look into All Programs and add the desktop shortcut.
If you are trying the 32bit version and it still does not work, try a windows update and see if that helps.
If these do not help, you may want to try Firefox, at least until you resolve the problem (since this is apparently urgent).
