Specs: Windows7 Home Premium, n/a
Hi All,

My Windows 7 Home Premium system will not boot. It keeps prompting to either run repair or launch Windows normally.
Either way it will blue screen. I have also tried Last Known Good Configuration and Safe Mode.

Is it possible to run a repair from CD (the CD I have is a Windows 7 upgrade CD) without losing the current install??

Or should I just backup everything and start again, would that be quicker?

Cheers :)

just backup and and start again, or your going to get frustrated, it very quick with win 7.
once you have your machine running perfectly create an image of your c: drive from the backup and restore center and store it on another drive. that will be much faster in the future.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
