Solved Windows 7, Files are corrupt no matter what

Specs: Windows 7
web browser I download with and it's no fun!

Do I do a complete re install of Winblowz or what? I have been getting blue screen's at times, but none as of late!

I am a Dell Laptop running windows 7

You'll really have to tell us more for us to help you.

For example, what browser are you using? What files are you trying to download?

If you feel it's due to whatever you downloaded, see if you can uninstall it, maybe in safe mode. If you feel it's malware run a scan with malwarebytes or something similar:

Try the above first. If you're still uncertain if it's been removed you can do a system restore, choosing a date from before you had the problem.
