Windows 7 File Transfer Issues

Microsoft Windows 7 home premium

Specs: Windows 7
I can't get my hard drive to restore my files because my laptop is in NTFS and my HDD is in FAT32.

I tried the Easy Tranfer option thats a bunch of bull. I get the damn file on the HDD and can't even open it. Then there is the size limitation problem. I am really hating Windows 7 right now.

Help!

i assume by HDD you mean an external hdd, create a new partition on your hdd and format to ntfs, run the easy transfer wizard and store the files on the new ntfs partion, then you should be able to transfer the file to your laptop.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
