"missing BOOTMNGR"

That's an error message which means Windows cannot find some vital files which it needs to be able to start. If you have made a "System Repair Disc" for Windows 7, boot from it and choose "Startup Repair" when the System Recovery Options box appears.

Hi,

To fix BOOTMGR missing file problem open your antivirus software program and run a full scan on your computer. When the scan is complete delete all quarantined and infected files. Then insert the Windows 7 installation CD into your computer’s drive and restart the computer. After the reboot open the command prompt and type fixboot. Then press ‘y’ when a pop up box appears asking you for confirmation. Then it will automatically solve the boot problem and you should be taken to your desktop.

Use repair disk, install disk or recovery disk to do a start up repair. The repair disk should have been made from your system when it was new, but you can still make one from another Windows 7 system but it will have to be the same type (32bit or 64bit) to be usable. You can purchase a recovery disk from the system manufacturer, usually at a reasonable price. Install disk you would have if you installed or upgraded to Windows 7.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

this error meassage means system can not find the boot file, in Windows 7 SYSTEM IS boot from the partition "system reserved". It must be something wrong with this partition, you could use Windows 7 install disc to repair your Windows OS. or if possible you could move your hard drive to other computer and run cmd command "chckdsk"

download partition magic for windows 7
