Windows 7 Bitlocker Problem

July 10, 2010 at 03:36:13
Specs: Windows 7
I am using Windows 7 in my laptop, I started locking my D: (200 GB) drive using BitLocker but when it was in 50% Suddenly i Unplugged my laptop with a mistake. Now that I try to Unlock my drive it says:

"The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"

My laptop dose not have any TPM, and when I try recovery password it says that the password is incorrect.

I need these information a lot. What should I do?

ANY ANSWER WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Windows 7 Bitlocker depends on TPM. If your laptop does not have it, Bitlocker won't run at all. Are you sure it's a bitlcoker issue and not something else?

I am sure that i am using TPM
My laptop does not have any TPM in BIOS but BitLocker works in laptops like these using a USB Flash Drive to store revover password.
