You can download a program 'speedfan' that will allow you to read this info directly at idle and during load, and allow you to see if an additional fan helps, if you determine that it actually is a temperature issue (very possible). Somethings to look into about heat:
If you have 2 or more hard drives, try separating them with a blank bay between.
Try moving other expansion cards away from video card to improve airflow by it.
Move wires or bundle wires to allow better airflow through case. **careful manipulating flat 'ribbon' cables, try turning them edgewise to the airflow.
Make sure existing fans are working and heat sink fins are clear of dust.

same here on my toshiba satellite lap.
I made a chronometer to kwon the time average on restarts and results are 118.5+-.25min. Adding time on starting it is 2 hour. I guess. Will check for viruses in ROM or bios configs.

Interested in the chronometer here it is

Is it just me? I fail to see how the above post (copied from Wikipedia page) helps answer the question why Windows 7 restart every two hours.

Why is anyone posting to a post that has been dormant since April? No I do not see any relevance.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
