Windows 7 Audio Problem (specifically voice)

Specs: Windows 7
For some reason when I try to watch a movie I can hear all the music and sound effects, and sometimes a voice if there is a narrator telling the story. But I can't hear the voices of anyone else. The entire movie will play through but you can't hear what anyone is saying. You can just barely hear them if you turn the sound all the way up but it sounds like they are talking inside a hollow pipe or something. All other audio seems to work fine and the video is fine. This has only happened since upgrading to windows 7.

I forgot to mention that all my music plays perfectly with no problems. It seems to only be a problem in video.

If this is an upgrade to Windows 7, try updating your audio or motherboard driver.
Check you audio control panel and see if some of the slides or other adjustments are turned down too far (Start, Control Panel, Hardware and sounds)

As it turns out my center speaker was not working which apparently is the only speaker some movies play voice on (which kinda sucks imo). Is there any way to change that?
