Specs: Windows 7, Intel i5 / 6 GB
I have just installed a codec so I can listen to m4a and aiff files and its working fine. Now, I want to transer all of those files into my WMP library. Is there any way to refresh the player so it reloads everything? Help please!!

✔ Best Answer
Put all your m4a and aiff files into the music store location of WMP. Close and re-open your WMP program. All the new files should be added to WMP library.

Conversely, after putting all your m4a and aiff files into the music store location of WMP and when WMP is open, click Edit on the upper left of WMP window and click Apply Media Info changes. The new additions should appear in the WMP library.

WMP music store location is C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Music, by default. C: is the System Drive.

Please note my Windows 7 is in my localized language. Therefore, some of the items/descriptions are translations and may be different from what you see in an English version of the OS.
