Specs: Windows 7, 2.4 GHz / 1972 MB
Firstly, this is my laptop details :

Manufacturer: Acer
Model: Aspire 4741
OS: Window 7 Home Premium
CPU/Ram: 2.4 GHz / 1972 MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 310M
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio NVIDIA High Definition Audio NVIDIA High Definition Audio NVIDIA Hi

I am having some problem with my taskbar which "pop" out instead of showing itself smoothly. FYI my taskbar settin is autohide. I just updated my drive but it seems that doesn't has any effect at all.

Another problem with my laptop is superb long boot up and shut down time. my boot up speed is about 1 minutes 15 sec while my shut down time can be up to 2 minutes! I have no idea why this is happening, I had done my defragment, registry cleaning and disk cleaning regularly.

Any help would be appreciate, thanks in advance.

As far as the second part, you may have too many programs running in the background that constantly need to start up or shut down before proceeding. Use MSConfig to remove most programs from starting with windows. Alternately, you may be running McAfee or Norton AV program (s) and they are both hogs, dump them and get a leaner meaner AV program.
I am not sure what you are asking on the first part though.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

if you have used a registry cleaner (not needed with win7 and most machines) then you may have caused your own problem, try a system restore to a time before the issue with the taskbar started, if that fails run sfc /scannow.
and dont do any more registry cleaning, causes more harm than good

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
