win7 installation problem

Specs: Windows 7, 2
i have installed both win7 and windows 8 developer preview in my Acer aspire 4740 laptop.I could use both well.But accidentally i formatted one of my disk in which win7 was installed.I have win7 installation DVD 32 bit.But i cant install a new win7.While I'm trying to install it displays an error message"there is not enough space in the disk".my disk have 100GB free volume and it is completely free(because i formatted it).Please help me.no problem if i lost win8 developer preview..i need to install win7 anyway

Use the install disk Custom>Format/Partition and delete any partitions found (or the one you want to install on), then create a new partition and format it from there.
What tool did you use to format it?

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Windows 7 makes a small 100mg boot partition and then installs on whatever partition size, perhaps it tried to install on the small partition. Note mg, not 100g. Fingers solution should do the trick.
