Some resource-intensive games generate more heat from the CPU & GPU because those two components have to work harder. If the heat reaches a critical temperature your laptop or PC shuts down to prevent permanent damage to the components.

You therefore need to improve the cooling system by installing extra cooling fans and making sure that the inside of your PC case is free from dust build-up and that all the cooling vents are clear.

Computers which are built for playing games already have extra cooling fans installed. Yours probably does not have them.

thanks for the reply, i have been thinking it might be this sort of problem or memory going bad but i remember when i got this PC i was cleaning it inside the tower and i loosened the cooler heat sink and the paste was broken loose so i am going to renew the paste and add another fan to the system, thanks for all the help.
