Win 7-The last backup did not complete.

Dell / Inspiron 530
March 24, 2011 at 21:02:37
Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, 2.4 GHz / 3061 MB
The last backup did not complete successfully. Error Code 0x80070020

I turned off UAC, I turned off Malwarebytes, also Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

This only started happening a few days ago after installing WINDOWS UPDATES.

I have NOT added any new software.

I have a 500 gb External HD that I have the backups overwrite the old one so as not to fill it up.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated,

Angi

do a system restore, create a new backup and then set it to create a new backup backup, you have space enough not to delete that last backup, you can do that manually every now and then.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

You should not over write the previous backup. As you have found, problems can happen and you are left without a working backup file.
