Specs: Windows 7
i have been experiencing sleep problems on my comp... im on win7...
when i put my comp to sleep i ''wake up'' dunno what happens but my comp slows down, example, i play a game and minimaze - it takes about 5-10 sec to minimaze, sometimes it just freezes for about 1min ... and same for getting back in game... but when i restart my comp everything is fine i min/maximaze in a second, every game, every program... this started to happen lately and i dunno whats causing it... i ran virus scan, spybot search, i defragged all my discs, but its still the same... its annoying... i dont want to shut down my comp at night, and every time when i stop using it

my configuration:

Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz

Motherboard:
Gigabyte IntelĀ® P55 chipset, socket 1156

Memory:

Hard Drive:
1000GB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (IDE)

Video Card:
ATI Radeon HD 5870

Operating System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.091207-1941)

Sometimes games keep graphics cards active even when they are minimized, this makes sleep more difficult for the system. It is not the same as leaving a browser, office document or other files and folders opened, it can still continue to use resources, even paused.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
