Win 7 SID Change locked me into Guest Account

Ultimate Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit
March 14, 2010 at 19:54:10
Specs: Windows XP
I recently changed by SID because i was installing a program which required that i change it. When i changed it, my laptop restarted and when i logged into my account, i found out that it went to guess account. I am stuck in a guess account even though at the logon screen it displays my user name. I cannot access none of my files nor can i change the account to administrator. System restore isn't working in guess account. Help please!

I did not understand the term SID since I had no prior experience with it. I googled the term and came up with:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/243330

Which including your statement appears to say that you basically eliminated your own authority within windows.
Try booting to safe mode and use system restore to a point before you made the changes. If that does not work, you may need to make sure your DVD drive is first in boot order and boot to your Windows 7 DVD and try to repair your install there or reset your authority there.
If these do not help, and there are no other suggestions from others here, you may need to call Microsoft support for help to restore it, or if all else fails, save files, format and reinstall.

Curious what program were you installing?

I need to get in contact with them (Microsoft)

I doubt M$ would help you with what is essentially a third party issue.

Try booting to safe mode & select Last Known Good Configuration. See this How-to article.

You are probably going to have to reload your machine.
