My computer makes me logon whenever the screen saver starts to run and the on resume box next to the minutes is checked but it is greyed out so I cannot uncheck it...any idea how to fix this?

Turn off your screen saver. Way back, screen savers were needed to prevent 'burning in' an image onto your CRT screen and permanently having it as a ghost image over everything. Most more recent CRT displays and all LCD display do not have this problem. Some still use a screen saver with a password to secure desktops when leaving their desk for a period of time at work, but logging off would be better anyway.

I like my screensaver though and before I installed Windows 7 I was able to run the screensaver without having to log back on and just do not understand why I can't still do that. Also ther is no way to turn off screen saver except to maximize the minutes before it comes on and even if I hit 'None' in the drop down the screen will go to the logon screen when the minutes are up anyway...
