Win 7 right-click context menu Dropdown virus

Microsoft Office 2007 home and student
April 4, 2010 at 16:39:56
Specs: Windows 7
When I use the internet (both Internet Explorer and Firefox) or try to save/open a file in MS Office, the dropdown menu will often start opening uncontrollably and repeatedly, essentially preventing me from doing anything else on the computer. In addition, when I am trying to type in Word, my words sometimes appear to automatically copy and paste themselves repeating what I've already typed. This will happen when I type even just a few letters making it impossible to work.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is it a virus? What can I do?

Is there possibly a stuck key on your keyboard? Maybe Control?

The keyboard is a possibility, but the mouse really isn't since I just use my laptop's trackpad.
