Win 7 Right-click context menu blacked out

August 5, 2010 at 18:54:15
Specs: Windows 7
I have a problem with my right-click. When I right-click anywhere desktop, taskbar or any icon, the right-click menu appear black. And when I move my cursor down that it turns normal again.

I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

Update your antivirus program and scan, then download Malwarebytes and scan with that to be sure. after that, if it is not corrected, try a system restore to a date from before you began having this problem. If this combination does not help, you may need to do a windows repair, but wait to see if there are any other suggestions first from someone who has seen this before.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

5. Advanced Tab

6. Under Performance, Click Settings

7. Under Custom: tick (uncheck) the check-box FADE OR SLIDE MENUS INTO VIEW

8. Apply & OK.
