I have a computer with Win 7 and I've had two printers stop printing from this computer while they both work fine on computers with Vista and XP.
They have stopped working completely? What happens if you reboot? Boot from a complete power down of the computer? Do you print once then no more after that?
Do you print from a specific application, then it stops. Does it print halfway or partially through a page then stops? what is the model printer? Is it a USB printer, network printer?- Off the top of my head, I would suggest to check for an updated driver. A driver form the printer manufacturer. The printer may have installed with the built-in driver.
The grass may not be greener on the other side but might have less weeds...

The two printers are an Epson X4300 and Lexmark X2500, they're both USB printers. Rebooting was the first thing I tried followed by downloading an updated driver. First with the Lexmark, the new driver worked for about a dozen prints then it stalled out again. I ended up uninstalling the printer and then reinstalling to have it repeat the same error. Swapped out to the Epson printer to have it do likewise. Following the second reinstall, I didn't download an updated driver relying on the auto driver install when I plugged the USB in. This seems to be working, I'm able to print again and I have not had any problems so far.
