Specs: Windows XP Pro SP3, 2gb
I searched all over for the answer but I couldn't find one. I have XP and Win 7 dual booted on different HD's (XP first). Internet on XP works totally fine but when I boot to Win 7 the internet is really slow.

How are you connecting to the Internet ? You might need to update drivers for your network card.

I'm connected via ADSL with a hardwired Gigaset 567 modem. I'll try updating the drivers. When I installed Win 7, it seemed to install the drivers from within, so you could be right. I'll let you know.

ASUS doesn't have Windows 7 drivers for LAN. I'm not sure what to do. I know many people have slow internet problems when first installing Win 7. I've downloaded and installed all the updates but still slow internet.

It seems it could be a registry thing, but I don't know how I could fix this.

I wonder what would happen if you used Vista or XP drivers for the LAN.

I don't really want to do that. If anything buggers up it will be a pain to fix since I don't really know anything about Win 7. Also I have a static IP if that matters. I read somewhere that the 10/full setting is better than 100/full or something like that.
