Specs: Windows 7
i recently tried to install windows 7 on my pc but crashed at the final stage so i tried it again with a different disk thinking the disk maybe damaged, again it crashed at the final stage so i tried windows xp and again it crashed at the final stage. now when i try anything a grey screen comes on with options, esc-switch screen f2 bios setup f8 boot device. f2 and f8 only make a bleep noise when pressed and dont do nothing, when i press esc it loads up the motherboard options, and the options are f2 run setup f8 for bbs popup f12 to boot on network. again when i select any of these options it was say enetering setup for f2 and so on but nothing happens at all.

when you install win7 you have deleted the specialist drivers for your machine go to the manufacturers website and download the driver cd, if you do not still have the original, and watch the win7 setup messages, you should see one that asks if you want to install specific drivers, follow the instructions.its probably sata drivers.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Possibly bad memory, test it (Memtest).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.
