"So i formatted the hd and installed win 7 ultimate"

You should have selected "custom (advanced)", deleted ALL existing partitions, created one new partition, then formatted. Win7 automatically creates a "System Reserved" partition that is only 100MB in size. This partition is required & should NOT be messed with. If you have done it this way, you will end up with one visible partition in My Computer that's approx 232.5GB in size.

This will explain what a reserved partition is and what it does. I've never seen food bugs in a hard drive or a desktop that used a battery. It always amazes me as to where these people come up with this stuff. It's good for a laugh anyhow.

If you want to break up the single partition, try EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition.
