Win 7 IE browser Zoom will not stay at 150%.

October 13, 2011 at 20:54:19
Specs: Windows 7
how can I make tthe zoom stay at 150%. It always reverts back to 100%. Earlier versions of IE had a way to adjust zoom on the bottom RH corner of the page. It is no longer there. I can set zoom at 150% under "tools" on the upper RH, but it always reverts back to 100%. How can I make 150% zoom my default?

When I open IE9, I show 100% in the lower right corner (usually use Firefox though) and when I set it to 150% and close it, then open it, it remains at 150%. If you are using IE8, try IE9 instead.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

The reason the zoom isn't shown at the bottom of the IE window is that you don't have the Status bar enabled. Right click in the toolbar area, then select it from the menu.

Or you can hold the Ctrl key & scroll the mouse to adjust the size as you see fit.
