Specs: Windows 7 Professional
Windows 7 has been acting up like crazy for me lately and I was wondering if anyone had any incite on what I should do. I will post two screenshots below describing the issue more exactly, but basically my memory usage is staying around 82% and thats with 2GB ram and no applications running over 60MB. Please Help!

I think is is readyboost or some such stuff.

I understood that 32bit would be best if you are using 1 to 3 GIGs of memory and 64bit best with 4 GIGs or more. I believe it should run ok on 2 GIGs but if you are running 64bit, you probably will be at least planning on running programs that will need the additional memory.
I am running 64bit on 4 GIG's and right now everything currently running is showing memory usage at 1.2GIG. I assume that when I run anti-virus scan or a game, I will be using much more. If the machine otherwise runs well, don't worry for now, but if you have a problem with a program that uses more memory, you may need to purchase more memory (maybe the prices will drop before spring).

Thanks for all the information guys, i guess i just havent looked at my physical memory usage since windows xp where it was like 20% usage of 1GB ram haha, i guess i can see how windows 7 is running a little more hardcore. I just threw 2 more gigs of ram in my comp and am letting it run at 1.2 GB of physical memory, reluctantly :P thanks again
