I was going through my computer trying to find out how to get rid of my file associations and i came across a thread that said to open start/run/cmd. then it says to type assoc .ext= (.ext) being the file u are using. in my case the file type was .upk bcuz im usin unreal developement kit packages. after i typed the command it says file association not found which i thought meant i finally cleared it but the file associations were still there.on top of that now when i try n open the program that runs the files(unreal editor) it crashes right away.
how can i completely undo the assoc .ext= command as if it never happened, and how can i completely get rid of my file associations?
