My computer is windows 7 desktop, and i always leave my computer on 24/7. Until recently, i have no idea why my computer stop doing the "auto turn off the display" function, as well as the screen saver. I had always set it to turn off display after 25 minutes without using the computer. So I'm curious about why does this happened? it never happen before untill few days ago, and im sure that it can be fix if i restart my computer, but i still want to know if there is another way to solve this issue.

After i had set to 20 min, the "auto turn off display" function worked again, but then weird thing happened. Right now, everytime the "auto turn off display" function is going to activate, my computer will auto lock my current user account and change to the "switch user" screen, instead of just turn the display off normally. Whats the reason for this to happen? What can i do to change back to how it was before?

P.S. Yes, this never happened before.

Forgive me for my horrible explanation though.

I think it sounds like the Screen Saver is involved, and the option for "on resume, display logon screen" is being activated

If you want to use the Screen Saver, it must be set for less minutes than the auto turn off display, otherwise the two functions are conflicting with each other.

To see,
Right click on the desktop > click Personalise > double click Screen Saver and look at what options are enabled
