Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
Hi everyone,
I've been getting random BSODs every day, sometimes more than once a day and it's usually when I'm surfing the web.
Latest BSOD was related to ntfs.sys, before it was ntkrnlmp.exe, and before that it was cdd.dll, and before that win32k.sys.

I had the same hardware running XP and it was fine. It's only since I installed Windows 7 x64 that problems started.

Any help would be appreciated.

"Any help would be appreciated."

Go to Start, Programs, Internet Explorer and use the 32bit version as it is most compatible.

Firefox works well on windows 7 64bit for me as does IE 32bit and IE64bit works fast but does not always seem compatible with all sites, especially short videos.
Have you checked for the newest drivers for all of your hardware? I think many problems with upgrades from XP are ultimately related to drivers and incompatible older hardware.

This is a clean install, all drivers are new, everything up to date, all win updates installed. Now my PC crashes after Windows starts up, after the crash it works fine, but then can crash during normal use.

What's the system log saying in the event viewer under?

Control Panel\Admin Tools\Event Viewer\Windows Logs\System. Check the latest crash log and post what it is saying on here.

Iron Sharpens Iron.
