Why Windows 7 changed it's default ease of access setting?

Specs: Windows 7
It did it to me also tonight and I did not set it up for it, for some reason Windows glitched and moved to this setting on it's own. This article helped me fix it but at first I thought it was Word 2007 which mucked up and troubleshooted that to no end. It is corrected now, this was what mucked up. Why would it change the setting in midsentence on me? Who knows.

Just a glitch, all Windows versions can spring surprises on you occasionally.

Also, some Ease of Access Centre settings can be enabled simply by pressing a key or a combination of keys even when the Ease of Access Centre window is not open, so it's very possible you may have pressed those "magic" keys without realising what they do.
