Why Ipod nano not working in windows I just got a brand new ipod nano (5th generation) and it will not be registered by itunes when i hook it up. :( It says there is a problem with the USB mass storage device. I have tried lots of different things to make it work ( uninstall and reinstall itunes...the driver..etc.) Is there anyone else with this problem ...or a way to fix it?!

First make sure that the version of iTunes is the Windows 7 compatible version (probably is if newest Nano, but make sure).
Second try a different USB port (possibly a rear one) to make sure that your USB port is operating correctly (front ports are extensions and use a long wire to plug into the motherboard and there could be a problem with the wire or plug)
Third, try updating yout motherboard's drivers from manufacturer's site.
Post results back.
