Why does photo paper twist during printing?

Specs: Windows 7
After 2 years of solid home use, my Canon MG5350 has taken to twisting a feeding photo paper around three quarters of the way through a print - is there a solution to this problem?

Dust on the pickup rollers can cause this.
Xerox technicians actually suggested this method, take a coffee filter, moisten it ever so slightly and wipe of the pickup rollers as best you can.
2 years on a home printer isn't that much wear so I doubt the rollers are worn out, most likely a good cleaning should fix the issue.

Also make sure the photo paper is flat. If it isn't then gently curve it in the opposite direction.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
