Solved Why does opening a .VCF file cause a system freak out?

October 14, 2015 at 03:29:13
Specs: Windows 7, Intel i3 2GB Ram
I've got a load of numbers on board, .VCF files, I choose the M'soft program to open them and then it all goes lunatic and I log off as I don't know what else to do. Should I open them with something else, a crowbar maybe? something I understand at least. Would be grateful for any advice, any informed and relevant advice, that is.

Of course failure is an option, it's why I'm here!

✔ Best Answer
What Microsoft program are you using to open the files? That file type is a Virtual Business Card and is best opened with Outlook. Is that what you're using? Are you just browsing to the file somewhere and double-clicking it to open it?

If you want to store that person's information in Outlook, just open Outlook, Go to the Import/Export option, and select VCARD file. Then just follow the wizard.
