Suddenly I can't email a friend, even if I reply to one she has sent it doesn't reach her. Says sent, only started playing up a month ago, really annoying help please !
I do not use Yahoo, but if everyone else gets your email except one person,
then the problem is most likely with her computer.Have her check her Spam folder, she may have inadvertently placed you on a blocking list.
Did she use an email client app? (example: outlook, thunderbird, opera mail, etc.) If yes, please try using the web version. If she sees your mail via web, then your client is the problem.
Also check that the date settings for your computer are correct... If it's in future (even by a day) they won't go out and be received OK...
She is on yahoo.com.So am I. We have been able to email each other for years, it's just suddenly stopped working. Am in time warp so don't understand what you mean about web version, think might need to do a computer course so I can !!
No I am on right date. Everyone else gets my replys and mails, it's just her. It started about a month ago - up until then it was fine.
"think might need to do a computer course so I can !!"
No need, just google.
re' the date idea.. If for some reason your computer date had been altered to a time in the future... then emails won't actually go out (certainly not via M$ Office\Outlook app.).
And I'm presuming similarly from web based mails systems too?We haven't yet perfected time travel etc. for emails...
Yahoo is sometimes a world unto itself... I have used it for an age and lost count of the number of times it's suddenly decided to go awry/wrong - both with inbound and outbound emails. Usually ended up deleting the app, then re-instaling it on the offending computer. And as I have more than one computer my contacts are still preserved via the other installation(s)... On occasion I have just waited a while and the problem appeared to resolve itself with no delete/re-install etc...
Yahoo is particularly a "pain in a..." on Mac systems...

have just texted her to check - sounds logical - will let you know outcome , thanks
Don't underestimate the possibility of this being your server or the internet playing up. This often happens then suddenly rights itself. Have you contacted your server about this? Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Right now the "server" is probably rather busy...; "serving" cold drinks to all and sundry (if in the UK).
