Why can i set my task manager priority for World of Warplane

Specs: Windows 7
I try to change the priority of worldofwarplanes.exe and it tells me ACCESS IS DENIED. I am the administrator. This is sooo stupid. PLEASE HELP!

Do you have UAC enabled? This sometimes prevents applications running as administrator even if you are the administrator.

To override it, click on start, enter taskmgr.exe, right click on the search result and run as administrator.

Out of interest, why do you want to run the game with a higher priority?
Unless something else is eating up your CPU in the background you are not likely to see much of a performance increase.

I was thinking the same thing.

@ NELIE - it would help to list your system specs, it's possible your desktop (or laptop) is simply not much good for gaming (weak graphics, not enough RAM, etc). And as thomasad alluded to, you may have a bunch of programs loading at startup & running in the background.

Try using CCleaner-Slim to clear out any accumulated internet garbage & to manage your startup apps.
