White Screen of Death, happens when outlook

February 19, 2011 at 13:15:33
Specs: Windows 7 home premium , i3 - m330 @ 2.13 - 4-Gig,
When MS-outlook 2007 has several windows open, it intermitently gives me a white see through screen and everything locks up. If I force shut dwn durring lock up it restarted with desk top and explorer 2007 returns to my desk top with explorer still open.
Another time it happens frequently is with MS Outlook 2007 open with several windows open or with a hand full of windows open and I'm trying to drag a picture or two to be added/pasted to a new e-mail. I have plenty of ram 4-megs and that was the only aplication open. 30-mins. later and the little computer working blue circle is still spinning. This is an HP Pavilion-dv6-2155dx.
I just closed explorer while blue circle was spinning and my desk top went back to orriginal colors, I just opened outlook and it is working fine. I tried to open Exlorer 2007 and I got a spinning blue circle. 2-mins. later it stoped spinning and a white Paper with a blue rectangle on the left side and a smallblue horizontal 1/2 page line on the right side. As I went to click on my home page to open it the blue circle started in the center of the now white, non see through screen and a blue spinning circle came back but on the icon on the bottom line of the computer, on KASPERSKY ANTI-VIRUS. I clicked on the windows to try to close the computer and the home page of explorer went see through white and a Internet explorer window opens up and gives me 3-choices, restart program, close the program or wait for the program to respond..
This is really Bulls---, MS someone needs to step up at MS Windows and Fix this crap. DO NOT BUY ANOTHER MS?WINDOWS PRODUCT OR GAME UNTIL THEY GET OFF THEIR ASS !!!! Michael Ingram 904-262-3660 phatjag@bellsouth.net I dare MS to contact me or better yet NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN and let the truth be known

This happens on my HP-Notebook and my Dell XPS 720 both have different MS/Windows Anti-virus company's, Both have different MS/Windows 7 verrsions. MS/Windows has had 4-5 attempts to resolve the issue and removing any software and reinstalling it or a duplicate of that software, doesn't work, PISS'S ME AND OTHERS OFF AND IS A FRONT FOR APEARING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE DON"T BUY MS/WINDOWS ANY MORE.
MY WIFE DOESN'T HAVE WIN-& on her DELL XPS 600 and hasn't had a problem. She has an apple notebook and hasn't had a problem, not 1 since she bought it 1.5 years ago.

This appears to be a rant to MS rather than a question for Computing Net.
Wouldn't it better to send it to MS? If you think they are going to spend their time sniffing around forums for things like this then you are far too hopeful.

We all live on the same ball.

Might be a good idea to remove your email address as well unless you don't mind plenty of spam and other messages. A public forum is the last place you want to advertise your whereabouts in.

Sounds like User Error to me, but hey, let him go to apple and not have anyone to help him with his problems...LOL...also WHY use OUTLOOK? nothing but problems and that's why I only use web-based mail.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
