All products that claim to "optimize" the Windows 7 registry, memory, etc. should be avoided. They generally cause more problems than they solve.

Just obtain a good anti-malware program and use the disk check utility in Windows explorer occasionally.

I second LMiller7 thoughts. Furthermore, Instead of asking ...

which is the best optimizer for Windows 7?

you should have asked ...

which is the best snake oil optimizer for Windows 7?

LOL

Hi arthurhall,
There are many optimizers available like Tuneup, Advanced
System Optimizer, IObit and many more. After searching over
net and reviews I am Advanced System Optimizer till now my PC
is working great.. it has tools for registry....disk...spyware and
many more to help your PC run smoother, till now for me its the
best optimizer I used. you can download it from CNET
(http://download.cnet.com/Advanced-System-Optimizer/3000-

you dont need an optimizer, win 7 keeps its self in order quite well, win 7 disk check is fine, it defrags its self, and use use MS essentials for your anti virus its free and works as well as anything out there.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

I stand by my original statements.

"Cleaning" the registry is potentially dangerous and has little to no benefits.
"Optimizing" memory does nothing more than interfere with Windows advanced and efficient memory management system, resulting in impaired performance. The only "benefit" is numbers in Task Manager that seem better to uninformed users who do not understand what they mean.

My computers also work well, without the use of any "optimizers".
