where is thunderbird data stored in the progr

Specs: Windows XP
I am using Window 7 and need to retrieve all my previous e-mails from my Gmail accounts. They were accidentally deleted from G-mail and they are still in Mozila Thunderbird. Where are the mails stored in Window 7 and how do I retrieve them and read them in Thunderbird? I have not used Thunderbird for the past six months. Thanks for the help.

If they are in Thunderbird on your computer, then you just open the program and click the Inbox (or which ever folder you stored them in since you can add additional folders). You cannot read them from any other program unless you specifically saved them as such, but then you would know where you stored them. If they are still there, that is how you will find them.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have not used or rather re-installed Thunderbird for at least six month. How do I re-activate it from my hard disk? Where is it stored? In which folder in Program Folder? Thanks.
