Look in C:Windows/Fonts folder - you even get a snazzy little preview of each one.

Incidentally, I don't reply directly to emails - the whole point of a forum is to share knowledge.

@johnr, seems O.P. didn't explain his question properly.

Let me explain, as I am having the same issue:

in MSWord 2007, font names in the drop down font list in the top tool
bar are appearing in their respective fonts. It is irritating, and for
proprietary fonts like krutidev, shusha, it is showing the name in the
letters to which the font name letters are assigned to, so it is
appearing as indecipherable junks, thus making it impossible or
difficult to understand the font name.

I am sure many of you must have faced that problem in 2007.

in 2003, there was a toolbar customize option from which I could have
selected not to show the font names in respective fonts, but I am not
finding that option in 2007.

How to switch off font name display in respective fonts in MSWord 2007.
