Did this ISO work on XP previously or was it also a win 7 system?.........The computer will check the cd for a bootable system, if it does not find one it carries on through the boot order in your case to the hard drive. Perhaps the ISO does not work on Win 7, or perhaps you have a 64 bit o/s and the ISO works on 32 bit only.....or the ISO disk has become corrupted...scratched what have you. My best guesses on that.

An ISO is not bootable, it is an image of either a CD or DVD and needs to be burnt to disc...

An ISO file is bootable, now I tried to burn it with Nero, and it work properly, so if you have such a problem try to burn it with a real burner like Nero or Roxio.
