What are you copying and pasting? And what program are you copying from and pasting to?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I have a spreadsheet on Excel with borders and different colours, fonts, etc. Normally I can copy and paste this straight onto an email and it looks pretty much the same but today it has lost all the borders and none of the columns or rows are defined, so it just looks a muddle. It's as though I've inadvertenly changed a setting somewhere.

Aha, it's Excel then. Don't think I can help but now you've explained in more detail someone else might. Not sure whether it would have been better placed in "Office Software" or not - debateable, so we shall see.

Good luck

When it works right, are you pasting it into a new email, and when it doesn't work, are you pasting into a replying email?

If so, it may be HTML formatted email when it works and text formatted email when it doesn't.

It completely changed the layout, removed borders, colours, etc. But....I have since switched off and switched on again and it seems to be back to normal. Must have been a glitch.
