what is wsock.exe?

November 11, 2010 at 12:21:07
Specs: Windows 7
I have this problem. An application with name wSock.exe, keeps pooping-up in task manager. It´s located in Program Files\common files\comobject. My CPU goes in to overdrive every time this opens. It will open up to 20 times at the same time, I keep ending the process to no avail. I deleted the application (wSock.exe) and keep it in the recycle bin. After I delete the application I get an error screen stating Program files\common files\comobject\progressbar.jr is missing. Can anybody help me with this problem.

No It didn't work. But I deleted the application from my computer, and my cpu is just fine. I left the deleted application in my recycle bin just in case. I haven't had any conflicts after I deleted it. Thank you for asking.
