Specs: Windows 7
toshiba 13.3 t235ds1340 pc with am0088397450316 has very slow transfer speed wireless. I'am thinking of returning it for it's brother that says it has 49.9mbps at 15". Is that a good enough speed for surfing internet?

This depends on the wireless router, you're connected to.
If your wireless router also supports wireless draft N, and the wireless draft N mode, both are using is compatible, you should get more speed.
If it's not compatible or your router only supports wireless G, your wireless network works on a good speed.

most wifi routers and cards, be that b,g,n should be good enough for the internet, depends on what you are streaming of course, 49mbps is about top speed for g, around 250mbps would be average for a n, although the speed of the actual internet, how many machines are connected, how much data is been transfered between machines, etc all have influence on the pseed of data been transferred through the router..if you are thinking of upgrading, go for g/n router and n, wifi usb/card/transciever..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
