Maybe, maybe not.

The best way is to not keep trying out stuff. Even some very top named apps don't fully remove all the bits.

I just do a complete reload of the OS. It fixes it.

Some tools out there could have possible helped. Sadly one was a norton product that tracked the install. Another is one of the sysinternals tools.

Hang up and live.

Programs of this nature tend to watch the install of a product, and then take a more aggressive stance in removing whatever the installer added. As such, I doubt this program will clean up after any program you've already uninstalled.

✔ Best Answer
Without monitoring of application installation there are severe limits on what any third part uninstaller can do. There just isn't any way of knowing for certain what or where the installer may have put things. In theory the application provided uninstaller would be able to do the best job. But unfortunately that often isn't the case. The problem is that most software producers have a hard time understanding that anyone would actually want to uninstall their wonderful software. As such, little effort is put into an uninstaller.

Revo Uninstaller Pro (not free) can do install monitoring. Having never used it I cannot comment on how well it works.
