✔ Best Answer
Control Panel>Programs right click on the program and select uninstall.
If you are in a user account, you may need to 'run as administrator' or log in under the admin account. There is no reason to need to log into mail server or enter the mail's password (though Admin may be needed under a user account).
If you are uninstalling due to a problem and that problem is also causing the uninstall issue, try this series in order:
Restart in Safe Mode with Networking.
Install, update, and run Malwarebytes. remove all it finds.
Download a new copy of Thunderbird and install it (fixes problems).
Open Control Panel> Programs and uninstall.
Restart in normal mode.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
