Hi friend,

More often this issue occurs when the computer had been facing problems with Viruses. Some of Malwares or adwares make changes in registry settings
Whenever you install a new driver software, the registry gets updated for that particular device. And hence due to the effect of such Malware or Adware that which were present previously in your computer, can cause this kind of problems.

To resolve this issue you may need to Uninstall your audio drivers and reinstall it.

Even if it doesn't work you may need to run applications like
Malwarebytes, hitman pro, Remove it pro and Trojan removal software.

Windows 7 manages sound differently then older versions. It will "turn off" the audio device when not in use by an application. Launch media player or winamp and Windows will activate the audio device automatically. I hate the feature but have yet to figure out how to disable it.
