So, I recently installed new ram to my system. I only had 2 slots, so I replaced my 1GB with a 2GB stick. It worked fine after tweaking around with the BIOs This morning, the PC randomly froze - I took it as maybe I was running too heavily. So I rebooted it and tried again. As of now, every time I log in normally, it will freeze up after a tiny bit if no immediatly.
I've checked my temp with CoreTemp, and the temperatures seemed to hover around mid 50s and 40s with the highest logged at 60.
Thanks in advance.
check all leads are firmly set, try your ram in the other slot, try your old one gig stick, it may be that the new ram is damaged or just not good. i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
without knowing your PC specs it is impossible to find an answer for you. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
