I've not used a Windows 7 Notebook. It should of had the feature to create a Repair Disk.
Start - Control Panel - Backup and Restore -
At the left top corner - Create a System Repair Disk. If you didn't make one see if you can get
someone to make one for you that has
Windows 7
I would hope that a Repair Disk would work on all Windows 7
Search the Internet maybe you will find one.
I found a location for you to create a Repair Disk

I think you bought a notebook for which the OS installation should be done by the customer.

If this is the case, namely, the OS not yet installed and configured, I suggest you should first read the documentation that came with your notebook to see if there is a way you can re-initiate the installation.

Furthermore, you can contact the dealer where you have bought the notebook. If the problem cannot be solved this way, you should contact the oem to ask for Recovery Disks or to learn if there is something you can do to restart the installation.

you should be able to run the installation from either the original disk, or by the restore partition on the machine.. what machine do you have?

or follow cool guys advice, what were you trying to do, and what did you do?

and if its new just take it back and say it happened when you started it..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
