w 7 crashes with usb then will not restart

April 7, 2011 at 12:26:44
Specs: Windows 7
Sometimes copying to usb causes pc to crash then it will not restart but keeps crashing until I remove usb. This does not cause diskcheck to be started when pc attempts to restart.

It would have been helpful if you had provided the model of the computer and external drive.

I suspect you have a 2.5" self powered external and it is overloading the USB ports.
