Normally when I adjust volume level on my two month old Acer laptop I hit Fn + Up or Down (which controls the volume). When I do that I see a graphic come on screen that is a volume bar and it goes up or down a bar depending on whether I've hit up or down on the keypad.
Well now the graphic doesn't come up and I hear a crackling of static when I press the volume button.
It doesn't raise the volume as much per key press as it used to (1 or 2% now compared to like 3% at a time before).
Not really sure what's going on. Any ideas, Gentlemen?
I should have added that it's an Acer laptop and it's an AMD processor. That's... kind of all I know. It says "Aspire 5517" on it.
